This isn't half bad. ^_^

You do have a few sound errors (such as 2 sounds overlapping, or the sounds being too loud. Lowering the volume, and fading music in/out would help considerably), and there is an issue with sprite-mixing (where you use too many sprites from games that have sprites that look different. Try comparing that MM7 style Maple sprite you used (and didn't credit for. ALWAYS credit custom sprites) to the JUS style Link).

Urgh... I TTA Ripoff?

A Blatant one too. The sprites you used were *barely* edited from the original MMBN sprites (An Olive Green ProtoMan? Seriously?), and the graphics in general were slowly animated and dragged through the .jpg machine.
The sound didn't drift from MMBN either, but was of decent sound quality. You had extras, which was nice, but they were poorly written and formatted.

I suggest you redo this. Learn how to edit sprites beyond just recolouring them, and try to save your characters and backgrounds as .png. Work on your spelling quality and scripting; trying to keep what they say in each textbox to a minimum.

If something needs explaining (like the MMO explanation at the beginning), use visual aides to help keep the reader interested. I had no incentive to actually read the text, and just kept clicking the 'Continue Script' button.

Finally and most importantly, get your own damn ideas. The MMO idea, while cool, has now been done to death by several different mediums, not just TTA. It's starting to get to DBZ levels of old.

I hope you take the time to read this; normally I don't leave such long comments, but this flash could have been so, SO much better if you had avoided some major pitfalls.

You were pretty much right in every aspect...
I could of course object in a lot of things but that's just stupid...
1 thing i do want to say...
This is my second movie and it has a 'decent score!' God! let me freaking celebrate this already!
Anyways, i will keep your points in the back of my head and work on them... When i get the skills to.. -.-"
Thanks for this long review dude! :D
Seriously!

So... BEAUTIFUL!

I absolutely adore breakbeat. I almost cried when the bass kicked in. You artwork isd also remarkable - and extremely detailed.

5'd and Fav'd. =D

'S allright.

But there are some controlling issues. Not only in the wasd key input cumbersome, it's rediculously slow. Also, because you put a reload time on each shot, you don't stand a chance of being able to shoot all targets.

Change the input to mouse, and have little or no reload time to make the game infinitely better.

Jehebi responds:

We were going to use input as mouse. But since the game started off as only 2 player, we decided not to change it. That's kinda weird that it is slow, try turning down the quality.

By the way, how did you reply so fast? We just submitted it 30 seconds ago...

I give props to you trying, but:

There are lots of bugs. For example, only one attack is any good at racking up damage (and those moves would be suited for a squirtle, not to mention they'd be useless against a grass type).

You can attack repeatedly as long as you keep clicking the attack button - the game doesn't wait for the enemy attack animation.

You lose even if you win, and you chose a song at a low volume.

You could also try to use the sprites without them blurring. If you can get those straightened out, this would be quite good. But at the moment, it needs a lot of work.

Aprime responds:

Lol thanks for the review, ill try to change all of that, thanks for ur review

Good, but Short Circuit does it better.

I don't know, possibly because Short Circuit came up with the idea first, or because I thought its graphics were neater; but this just isn't the same for me.

Great job though.

I Think I Love You

Perfect dude. The new drumloop is really interesting, and the extra melody is just what was needed. Best title theme ever.

Adoring This.

It's such a nice, understated beat, and good instrument choices. The breakbeat at the end lets it loop well, but I can't help but feel it could be longer.

Hasn't stopped me from listening to it loop 5 times already though!

The next step from webcomics is flash, right. So what better place to start and flog me website? (It's www.funkypixel.comicdemons.com, go there now!)
