A very well put together trailer.

Your animation skills are remarkable but please, please, PLEASE, don't copy an existing idea. Not only are there 1001 DBZ knockoffs involving sprites on NG, you're trying to follow (and surpass) the most popular one on here.

I'm not bashing your flash, just your concept. Put these skills to a story of your own, and originality will be yours.

NessMasta responds:

Well, I'm not trying to compete with Super Mario Bros. Z. I do love that series no doubt, that's why it inspired me to make a series somewhat similar to it. The whole story to Nintegaball GT will be totally different, with maybe just a tad bit linked to Super Mario Bros. Z, somewhat like DBZ and DBGT. In Nintegaball GT, instead of using the Chaos Emeralds, I decided to have the dragonballs instead and to have Shenron. I think it's somewhat you can say, Super Mario Bros. Z ten years later.

The Final Scene...

Really, really imaginative. That alone far surpasses most of the other sound bites put in PW.

Maybe you should do a PW RPG flash? I'd vote 5 Fo' Sho'.

Kitsunedai responds:

Thanks!

To be honest, I actually thought of making a PW RPG flash. And I started putting down the storyline and everything. But then I cant figure out how to work the various mechanics that go into making a flash RPG like that. I dunno how to make the menus pop up, shields, variables, or anything like that

But if I learned how, yeah! That'd be a reality.

Wizard Lock is now my favourite lock. >_>

Y'know, I always thought that the LL were just a get back at the Clocks, but this changes my opinion.

10/10 Dude, you earned it.
(P.S. my voting saved the flash for you. ^_~)

A very nice tutorial.

It really could have done with a choice of BGMs, I didn't care much for that Fire Emblem remix.

Also, have you considered making those volume edits, then having the soundclip that you edited playable? So the reader can see what different things do?

hashbrown responds:

it was a zelda remix (though fire emblem rawks) and yeah sorry bout that

It's a bit short...

Nice animation though. Everything was nice and smooth. But the length and the lack of sound is a bit problematic.

Practising for our collab are we?

Jdid112 responds:

Yea. But, I couldn't locate any megaman sound effects. Didn't want to try to crap it off by putting in mario sprites. It's 7:28 AM Here. I'll be on MSN by four. Be there.

You beat me to being the Second MMBN Flash Artist.

CURSES!

Anyway, you have a good series going. Instead of giving a whole load of small reviews, I'll just summarise here.

Way to go on using the MMBN series. I was a bit worried about the sprite generation mixing, but that stopped by episode 3. The battles were as mad as a fish, and fortunately, the humor got better and more frequent as the series progressed.

I'm still jealous you beat me to using the MMBN series though. >_>

Note: Auras block damage, but health drain attacks (like poison or Gun Del Sol) ignore them, and some wind attacks (i.e. NorthWind) remove them completely! ShadeMan should have done his homework! :D

You're right, that song IS awesome.

Sure, the graphics were a bit sketchy, and the animation repetitive, but...

THAT JUST MADE IT BETTER!
I reccomend this to everyone, not just Naruto fanboys.

You have a decent series going.

However, the bittage mixing annoys me. There are much more up to date versions of Kirby, Mario, and Black Mage, so there's absolutely no excuse for not using them.

Your spelling and scripting could also do with a little work

A nice, solid sprite movie.

But the plot was a little unoriginal, as were the fight scenes with super-long charging times and giant beams. Been done 1000 times before.

You might want to add in some humour in later episodes just to lighten things up a bit. Unless you customise the sprites yourself, you're not going to be able to squeeze much angst or sadness out of sprites. Not even Shadow.

:D I like this genre.

The Flash/Real Life fusion concept is quite cool IMO. What you did was put together well and everything; but yeah, it was a bit short.

I would give an automatic 10 if you dressed up as Mario though.

The next step from webcomics is flash, right. So what better place to start and flog me website? (It's www.funkypixel.comicdemons.com, go there now!)
